Contempt Prior To Investigation

To view ‘thoughts about reality’ as distinct from ‘reality itself,’ is necessarily to view thoughts about reality as inherently unreliable. For one that ascribes to a worldview that presupposes thought to be unreliable, it is natural to dismiss all other worldviews – constituted of ‘thoughts’ or ‘systems of thought’ – as unreliable also. In short, because adherents of the common worldview regard thoughts as inherently unreliable, such adherents are extremely resistant to the only remedy for the delusion from which they suffer – reasonable thinking.
